These are available in repro. There is a '32 roadster in the UK with a set. It is sort of a lightweight E-type theme.

  3. JJ, you are are collecting some cool shit.

I can't wait to see some of your projects come together. You have a great eye and I love the parts and pieces you use on your builds.

You sweat the details and it shows.

    Gang,

I plan on ordering a set of those CNC repop Dunlop D-type rims later in the year for my model A coupe build. There are quite a few steel wheels that look close, but they aren't nearly as light. As far as I know, there are no US dealers but plenty of places in the UK sell them. I'm not sure about all the links below, but I've been in contact with Realm Engineering and they actually make them and can make them to your specs. They are pricy, but no more than your average CNC billet wheel.

Also FYI, these D-type wheels were actually factory race rims back in the day, and they were cast aluminum not steel. Perhaps one of our Brit buds or Jag owners can provide more info. Later, Gary

I have always been in awe of this car and the vision behind it. It was always a pleasure to see it at the shop. Can't wait to see it develop

It's not doing anything for my focus either. Im trying to work on the '33 and all I keep thinking about is how I have to sell the '33 to get going on the Seret!

Car is still in California. Should be crated by end of week early next week then I'll have it only a few short days later. Then it's time to play Tetris with the cars in my garage to make them all fit. If I know myself as well as I think I do, I bet that buck isn't going to stay disassembled very long. I bet it gets put back together so I can daydream and make vroom vroom noises with my son in the passenger seat. haha!!

I think this winter I'll start collecting parts and pieces if I can.

Think of it as repopulating the planet with another cool ride, then it doesn't seem so tough to sell the '33.
