O.K. I stumbled through the old site just long enough to get confused by the new site and finally read the rules..almost. I was proud when my A.D.D. let me read the whole thing and get to the bottom. I even did my profile. I missed the last part about the intro but a HAMBER set me straight on a post.

I was tryin to wait til I figured the thing out be before I posted but i saw sumthin I wanted. enough ramblin..hey no one reads these anyway.

I just turned 50 so I like the idea of being called a new guy for change.
I am a posser wannabe and don't know shit! There I said it before you did!

Like I said in a post My dad and uncle were rodders, they are 76 and 80 years old now. I always liked their stories and remember riding in my dad's buddy's
50 somethin rodded truck with a corvette engine in it showing me how to power shift. I am on my seventh Harley now, goin ol skool with flyrite and want to learn about and do a rod.

Hey man. A more senior dude sez welcome. I had harleys starting in 1955, back when they were definitely NOT a status thing. Still have one, too. Chopped, raked, lowered, 84 ST, first evo engine. Had one in Milwaukee that was radical, 18" over stock glide tubes, .80 over bored, very stretched and weird. Sold it to a Milwaukee Outlaw clubber before I left town. Have had BSAs, BMWs, Triumphs, but always went back to harleys.

Blah blah, I do go on. But hey, welcome.

  5. Welcome from another 50yo. This is the learning pool, just absorb the knowledge.

Be sure to check the classifieds, lots of good potential projects.-MIKE:D

    Ted,

It's nice to see you on here!!! This place is a wealth of information and also has its share of knuckleheads so beware.

I hope you enjoy the bike!

Welcome to the HAMB - Nice bike.
"want to learn about and do a rod" - I suggest you just copy that nice lookin 34 in the background of your picture - any chance of a picture of that?
