searching a thread

how do i search a ten year old thread with over 700 pages for a post i made in it or for a post another hamber has contributed to the thread?

 

Once you open the thread, hit the search ribbon (magnifying glass).
Then enter your screen name (or anyone's for that matter) in the field "Posted by Member"
Be sure to click "Search this thread only"

That should get you what you are after.

for some reason i was looking under advanced search features.

i seem to recall the old hamb had it under thread tools? maybe i'm wrong.
