Search function needs fixed

I did a simple search for " Pontiac" and 20 of the first 30 results were the same thread? There was another one listed 3 or 4 times also in the first 30 results. Is there a way to fix it so a thread only comes up once in a search function?

 

I was wondering the same thing, there is a box to check that says show threads only, but I check it every time I search & it still shows individual posts for the same thread.

 

Search is screwed up, for sure.

 

How do I search I don't see any where to click??

 

I am seeking the parts search??? 'Lost in Space.'

 

Search has been fixed...if you use the advanced search feature, you have the option to search all, search by post/thread, search profile posts, or search media. From there you can narrow your results. If you wish for the results to be displayed by thread, click the "Display results as threads" box.
