Technical Schiefer steel flywheel identification

    I work in a local speed shop and we are trying to identify a 40lb steel schiefer flywheel. The number on it is 40 22423. I cannot find this anywhere. Any sort of help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  4. How do you know its a Schiefer?

    it was still in the schiefer box. plus it has a ratty schiefer decal by where it bolts to the crank

    From the bolt pattern I would say FlatHead Ford V8. Gary

    its 12.5 inches across. another number where it bolts to the crank is E-104
