    Hi guys -

Searched the forum and cannot find any comment on the Scarebird kit for the 1949-1951 Ford. Has anyone bought and installed their kit? Any feedback?

    thanks

I have used scarebird kits a few times with no problems. 2 front kits on our 62 Catalinas and one on our 61 Tempest. Hes a member.

I installed their fit on a 51 Vicky, had to massage one caliper with a file, Works great.

Not that setup, but most of the other ones that they make. All of those fit like a Swiss watch part, and did the job nicely, including the ones on my daily-driver.

Unless they momentarily lost their minds on this setup, they should be good, too.

Every so often a caliper will need a little file work. They are not all identical, and that cannot be planned ahead for in the kit.
