Scam email I received

  1. I was just talking about this scam tonite over dinner at at friends, when I returned home of all odd coincidences this was in my inbox...
    Hello
      I am Mr mark henry from norway i saw your adevert while i was
    surfing on the internet so i came across your advert on your (29
    tudor sedan sheetmetal ) for sale and i really am very interested
    which i want to give my lovely pastor as present for what he has been
    doing to my family, so as for the payment i will want you to know i
    will be sending you a  certified cashier check through my client in
    the USA in the amount of  $12,000 this should take care of all
    expences in this transaction, what you will do once you have recieved
    it is to cash it, deduct your own money($7000) and the wiring charges
    and wire the balance to my international shipping agent through Via
    Western union so that will come for pickup but right now is in london
    for a diplomatic tour, once he recieves the balance will come over to
    your location the very next day for pick up, now the money wired to
    the shipper is his fees for his services, transportation to your
    location and back to me, also for all charges
      that may arise along this transaction cos i will want it to be
    delivered to me safe and sound without problems, i shall send you my
    shipper address as soon as i contact him, all i need of you now is to
    mail me your full name and contact address as well as phone number so
    that i can forw ard it to my client who will issue you the check, let
    me know asap if you are still intrested so that we could seal this on
    time. Regards

    Standard format scam: you cash the cheque, bank clears it, you send money, also send car, bank then informs you they have discovered it was a fraudulent cheque, sue you for the money, or just take it out of your bank if you have it.

    You will lose, car, money, temper, confidence in people and your good standing with financial establishments as you are dragged through the courts to pay for the money the bank gave you by mistake.

    Works on most people though., I've done it a thousand time [​IMG]

    i got a few last time so the last one i got i told them they had contacted the British fraud intelligence agency and that we were in the process of tracking them down,aint had one since.I dunno if they believed it but you can never take the chance ............Marq

    Mark Henry, big WWF wrestler. It's a shame they do this crap, what if there is a true hotrodder over there that really is interested? You would never know because of all these scams. I really feel bad for you guy's over there. later plmczy

    Interesting. Mr Henry must move around a lot. The last email I got from him?? was from South Africa.
