So, you have a SB Ford engine ( 221, 260, 289, 302) with the boring 4 barrel, you say? Well, let me show you something that will make your engine different than everybody else's, and have folks talkin' about "what is it? Here we have a as new (by that I mean it hs not before seen action) Offenhauser early 2x4 intake. Special Fenton old school adapters, and 2- 94 carburetors. BUT WAIT, these are not your daddy's old 94's, these are not 3 base but 4 base, not 15/16" venturi but 1-5/32" making them not 175 CFM each but rather more than 300 CFM each, not manual choke like all early 94's but rather an electric choke. Oh, I forgot to mention the throttle plates are not regulare 94's 1-/4" plates but a much larger 1-7/16" plates (I know what your thinkin', but you would be wrong, they are large than the 2110 plates). They are more efficient than 94's with late model 4 barrel annular spray bars, bigger bore, and much larger venturi area to help better atomize the air fuel mixture to the combustion chambers. They are connected via polished custom progressive linkage with the rear being the primary and the front a true secondary with no idle or vacuum circuits. The fuel gets to these babies via a custom polished fuel delivery complete with custom made polished fuel log, buffed brass fittings, and special polished aircraft aluminum lines, fuel pressure regulator as well as engine turned fuel pressure gauge. To top it all off is a pair of O'Brien Truckers "kool beanz" Edmunds repo air cleaners complete with washable filter elements. Now don't you admit this is way kooler than a boring single 2 or 4 barrel? All this eye poppin' candy is a mere $1249. And you are keeping Ford carbs on a Ford engine. THIS SETUP CAN BE CHANGED FOR A SBC INTAKE IF YOU PREFER. Attached Thumbnails
