Huge effort on this car, you genuinely deserve every pat on the back you get.
Thank you X38
I totally identify (many others also) with the frustrations encountered along the way. Let me say thanks on our behalf for you forging ahead. The car is unbelievable! Most people would not believe what you started with. Can hardly wait to see it finished. All this and here I am starting a new project.......Tim PS I may have asked already but what part of Wisconsin are you in?
Truly amazing transformation! We'll have to call you the metalworking magician. Actually, no magic involved.... just pure talent.
My wife is the person who keeps me motivated. She's always so positive!
I am in the northwest Wisconsin
How are you doing?
Good but still staying busy on everyone else's cars. Did get a camper this year.
So no progress on the A
Camper should be fun!
And here I thought that I was the only one with a wife like that
A few before and after shots!
A great save! just goes to show what beauty can be found amongst what seems to be lost!
You deserve kudos for the hard work and end product, a beautiful job of making something nice out of pieces of old steel. Its art, in my book.
I've been working on putting a trailer hitch and air bags on my 40 chevy so I can pull the camper. I just finished fixing up and installing covers on a set of running boards for the 40 too. My spare time this summer will be going into the 40. That car has been neglected for a few years. I have been looking for a 32 body to put on that frame under the model a.
Fantastic work! You should change your user name to Merlin. By the way what did you use to make your trailer go from the above pic to the one you used to bring that beauty back from the paint shop?
I had to read that more than once, hilarious
What a read!!! Just went through start to finish! Great save!

Fabulous......I am in awe. Ya did good Mike.
Hey...I'm still looking for a dash.
Really came out nice. Great job.
I have one and owe you a visit.
Thanks for the kind remarks ,
You've inspired me to do my future build in Washington Blue.
I love the kidney bean wheels, but I think I might try them in Dow 7 instead of gray. Thanks for the inspiration!
It's not a color for everyone, but that was the point! Glad you liked the build .Mike
Headed to Nebraska to get an interior in this thing
You sure did a great job, building a nice Hot Rod out of some long forgotten coupes!
Don't get me wrong; I love the old school Hallibrands and replicas in 1. as cast. 2. gray 3. Dow 7, and in that order.
I'm just curious as to what the dull gold-ish color would look like next to that color blue.
Might tie in with the goldish exhaust manifold nicely
