Cool... Let me see what I can come up with - sans the skirts and some different wheels and maybe some other differences...
that would be awesome matt! ive been lagging on pictures. i at least want to have the new rear quarters tacked up before i post the pictures. ive also snagged another roof from a 56 olds. so i will be re-skinning the roof so to speak here soon.
ok, so here is a little teaser upadate picture. i got the buick rear quarters mocked up and in. im still going to run the packard tail lights, but im going to build off the buick quarters.... next mission: FIXING THE ROOF
scrappers sucks!!!! .damn nice save from the trash whores that woulda turned that into a kia, cant wait to see what comes of it
all work and no play makes max a dull boy...SIKE! ive been jammin on the car pretty hard as of late. the rear end is together and ive got the bumper hung. om juuust about done with the front fenders, but you're going to have to wait to see the pictures of those.....
heres the passenger quarter panel thats just about finished up. the other side should be in the same shape by the end of tomorrow! i also got a new decklid today, so the rear end of the car is REALLLLY fitting together nice now if only i could get that roof thats waiting for me....
havent done too much the last few weeks, been working like crazy, but there has been a deadline set for this car. one year from last weekend, give or take afew weeks. there is a certain show i think im going to try for a debut
well, sometimes, you gotta roll it out and look at some progress in a bigger frame....we're gettin somewhere...got the packard quarters ready to go this weekend... excuse the green wheels...
well...decided i had to replace the old roof entirely. luckily, i aquired a 56 olds 4door top, and after many measurements, a few cuts, and a couple of tacks, i had the new top on. we got really lucky and diddnt have to make any relief cuts up into the top. there was some excess metal that needed to be trimmed around the back glass, but thats gone and taken car of. next up i'll be finishing up the welding on the roof, and then start to clip the car with the help of a few of my club members that have a little more knowledge when it comes to putting a clip under a car. it was so nice to see a nice flowing roof with a damn perfect crown (esp. for a chopped top, and compared to what the old roof looked like). it was a HUGE motivator to get back on full force with this car!
Damn right, the roof looks awesome! I love it when predictability happens accordingly, then its like a motivation shot right in the ass. Nice work man!
you must fight to live on the planet of the apes.... anyways...got some early action goin on with the taillights yesterday: and a lil more.. and heres what im thinking when it comes to how i plan to make it all mesh. forgive the bumper being crooked etc, its just a brief mock up with some template paper..
Lookin good man! What's up with that 56 dodge front end sticking out in that pic you posted awhile back? Satan's Chauffeurs
