I know I have heard something about the old aluminum bodied model T's, I believe they are very rare.

Looking at the firewall I'd guess 1923-25.

No! Sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. Steering wheels of synthetic Fordite appeared in the 1919 ford line.

Looking at the firewall I'd guess 1923-25. But I do belive it's an early '24. From the photos you've posted the doors appear normal.

Four door bodies apparently went through a number of changes between the introduction in late 1922 and the last in 1927.

The first were nearly all aluminum panels over a wooden frame. Apparently during 1923 the lower panels were changed to steel but the upper ones remained aluminum.

Still later the doors became all metal (no wood framing). In late 1924 (1925 models) the aluminum was dropped.

    Here's a link to the Model T Encyclopedia - http://www.mtfca.com/encyclo/1921-25H.htm

"The aluminum-bodied four-door Sedan which was described earlier used the same hood and “low” radiator that was used on the other Fords when it was first introduced. As production increased, the use of aluminum was phased out on the lower body panels but was retained for the top sections."

Ok,cool. 23-24 was kinda what I was thinking. The lower 1/4's are steel and the entire body and doors are wood framed. Thanks for the information.

Man I have a thing for early T sedans, build a nice flatmotor powered late 50s styled full fenderd un-chopped rod out of it in plane old gloss black for a daily driver. Or hell, even a more modern 4 banger under a full hood?
Damn that would be sooooooooo cool.
Or, you could just flat pack it and ship it here, Id build it!
