If the direction is a conversion to a two door, I maybe able to help with parts.
I will be getting a 62 Newport 2dr hardtop to part out. I need the gauges and seats to recover for my ride. The rest will be parted out and sold.

    Great score and project!

  3. '62 and '58 are completely different cars. You can't find a 4-door to destroy? I've had a cluster sitting here with the full dash from a '60 for several years and no one much cares.

It was my understanding that the 2dr hardtop roof line ran the life of the forward look series.

The car I would part out has been sitting outside since the 80s, the owner was going to restore it some day but came to reality when he jacked the car up and found the floor and cross member that anchors the torsion bars are non existent

    Really?

Someone needs to be run down by a '58 Plymouth Fury. Preferably red.

It appears someone added '57 tail lights to your '58 Chrysler. Nice score!

Wow!That´s just classy! What a cool profile it has, being a 4dHT. Personally, I wouldn´t change a thing about it, except put in new upholstery and whitewalls, and drive it as-is.

  13. No, 57-59 is an entirely different body shell from 60-64. And both shells have multiple roofline variations.

Most of them have bad floors and mount points at this point in time, unless they're from the south or west.
