Santa's Coupe

Starting to snow hard - another 14" of white.
Home with the wife looking at all the colored lights.
What's that noise I hear, just coming into site ?
While it's Santa in his coupe, tearing up the night !

He sped by so fast, I didn't here what he said,
He didn't stop and with anger, my face turned red,
Something about no presents and I was out of luck,
But my wife said no - no -he said his throttle is stuck !

So I poked out my door and sure enough it was true,
Santa's Coupe wizzing by and Santa didn't know what to do !
So I yelled as loud as I could to turn off the key,
So maybe he would stop and have something for me.

But nope, not this year, not one thing for me,
No tools or toys, just a sight to see.
Santa in a coupe - tearing up the night,
With the throttle stuck and O- BOY what a sight !

Engine wide open, disappearing into the white
Hearing him say - nothing this year - yeee hawwwwwwwwwww
