San Antonio, Austin, So-Texas guys-A decklid lost?

Anybody running up I35 lose a Model A decklid recently?? Like Saturday morning about 11AM?
Saw this on Craigslist- a guy picked it up off the side of the highway near Ruekle Road.

Figured theres a good chance someone here might know who it was that lost the decklid

Oh, that heaven someone finally found it. I been lookin' all over for it but I guess in the wrong place.

 

What a great guy, wish I had the same luck when my Snap-On floor jack escaped out the back door of a 24 foot Budget Rental truck years ago.

 

I lost mine on that road at that time, but it wasn't in a barn. It was in a shed. Must be from a different "A".

 

stand up guy,,,,,deck lids aren't cheap.

 

Bump for the morning crowd. Man, I'd be pretty disgusted to get my new project home & see the decklid gone.......

 

That's nuts. Atleast it was someone who knew exactly what it was and stopped to pick it up! Kudos for that dude, and hopefully the guy who lost his lid sees the ad.

yea wait till someone calls to claim it and finds out they're deck-lid went through a $1000.00 windshield...

 

I'll kick this back up once more. Then my conscience will be clear.
