    The funny thing about that Model A, it belongs to my old friend "Whitey" Bob Jenson, who raced everything from Flathead powered roadsters, to injected nitro dragsters. Whitey just turned 76, and we picked him and the roadster up, that Sunday morning and he let my friend Jim Beardsley race it. Jim was pretty easy with it, and there is plenty more there. It's got a healthy 383", 4.57 gears and slicks, a rematch sounds like fun!

    Quality work...I am at a loss for words..I am 43 and doing my first model A on 32 rails ..learning as I go..I am inspired by your build but at the same time I feel a bit out of your league..great work and seems like great family values..shake your dads hand for me..The world needs more fathers like yours..

    Thanks. I have an awesome dad.

    As you would imagine switching from radials to bias, its not going to be better. They drive pretty good, but I think they're out of round. The front end starts to hop at 65mph. Anything above or below 65 they are great.

    Yeah, it really cleans the whole car up. Makes it flow. It won't be coming off.

    Thanks. Don't you have like the coolest 32 sedan on the planet? Dang man, I wanted to finally meet ya.

    Thanks Mr. Smith. That was my idea. get as many wheel and tire combos I can to keep the look fresh. I also got some 7.50/4.50 firestones and 18" firestone indys that might make it on there.

    Can you take a picture of the tabs or brackets you made to attach your hood hold downs. I have my driver side taken care of but I haven't made up my mind on how I want to do the passenger side.

    Thanks!

  16. I like the new look but the old look had a much more sinister look IMHO. It reminds me of one I used to own.

  17. Sam,
    Awesome build- you really nailed the sinister look.

    A couple of questions;
    What size are the radials on the front 5-spokes?
    Are there any mufflers or just straight-through pipes? What diameter?

    Thanks,
    Gary
