My good friend Pat Anderson is resting at home with the assistance of Hospice. He will soon be running his well-traveled '32 3 window in hot rod heaven.<O</O
No...not Pat. He always had a big smile and a healthy handshake when he saw me...or anyone he knew. What happened?
Was this something sudden??He looked fine to me back in December at the Geezer Reunion in Dallas..acted like the same old Pat.
This is hitting too close to home. What can you say about Pat. One of the nices people you could ever meet. Our prayers goes out to him. A true icon in the Hot rodding world. Trammel
can not express the words as to how difficult it is for Pat, and those close to him to deal with this. Wish them all nothing but the best. Hospice provides a top notch service.
I also saw Pat at the geezers reunion and he looked good...but I know he has had some serious health issues for quite some time. I wish him and his family the very best.
Hey, he owes me money!!! Sorry to hear about the arteest Pat Anderson and that's all I'll say...He is a nut!! I'm probably one of the few who got to see how Pat painted his art. And got sleep in bed with him at the NSRA nats. Now that was a story!!!
Damn, another shot to the gut. Yesterday Tom Willford, today Pat Anderson. I guess we need to start taking better care of ourselves! Pat always wanted to drive my Willys, maybe we could bring him back with that one. We will have a GOOD thought for you, my friend. I'm praying for miraculous healing and I'm pretty sure we have all seen you pull that off! Rob Frazier Thanks for the heads up 63dan63.
Pat built the first barn find. He took a fiberglass 32 3 window and made it look like it had been setting a long time.
Damn, I was hanging out with Pat at Yello Belly Nostalgia Drags last month and he was having a great day doing what he loved. Damn. Prayers sent buddy. Much respect for the man and the artist. Ken Smith Custom Paint
Does anyone have pics of Pat's art that they could post? I would love to see a pic of the pair of gassers charging off the line and some of the stuff he did since that time. Still praying for miraculous recovery.
Sadly, he passed away on June 28th http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=813042&highlight=pat+anderson
