Rusty things on the side of the road!!!!!!

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. It's on the side of the road on hwy 321 headed toward Shelbyville,TN. The county got on to these guys to clean their land up, so they're dragging stuff out to the road and acting like they want to sell them. I stopped and asked about this thing purely out of curiousity. The old man says $600.00 will take it home. It's cool.....but not THAT cool....


I'm guessing homemade air compressor.....

 

Did you check under the hood to see if it had a Smith compresser head? Also check the windshield post area, can't tell if it is a commercial/roadster cowl or cut up closed car.

 

Looks like a 31 Model A shell,,,,HRP

 

Oh well, what else could you do with a Model A?

The cowl is from a cut down closed car. The closed car has the lower bead in the body line (just below the gas tank) whereas the roadster it is one wide bead.
