so we got this cab fromsome guy for a hundred bucks. it was all rusted out a started off as a coupe. the back trunk lid was cut of and there was a very Drunken chop done a while back , not to mention all the bullet holes. but a hundred bucks later we had our start. we then aquired this axle out of a 49 chevy truck. some other shit from various people and places and we were on our way. the plan is to keep it very simple and learn a lot as we go. since evrything is all rusty and shot up, we thought we would just leave it that way.

thanks for the suggestions. We are going to use the truck axle because we are running quarter eliptical front suspension. we are going to use the perches to mount the springs in the front. we just need a six lug rear chevy axle! we ar ekeeping this build pretty cheap. so far we are in it about $400 bucks.

spent most of the day today working on the front end, it turned out pretty good i have to say. i have a lot of welding left to do.i have to reverse te steering and weld gusets everywhere but it's coming along quite well. the weather help pretty good so today was a very productive day. let me know what you think of the spring set up?
    Thanks.
