Hot Rods Rumors about Brookville bodies

We heard some rumors that the company that stamps bodies to Brookville run out of business?? And Brookville can´t get any bodies anymore. Anyone knows anything about this

 

i thought Brookville stamped their own body panels?

Anything is possible...

...but this part is highly unlikely.
At most a slow down...but I expect all this is just a rumour or misunderstanding anyway.

 

Brookville does have some 3 window panels stamped in Mich...

 

I saw the Brookville semi roll through Dallas yesterday, heading to Austin. You can snap up a body or two at the Roundup!

 

I have been through brookvilles shop they very much do make the majority of their own panels...they do however outsource a few stamped parts..with an operation like theirs they should be just fine.

Rumor was they broke a die for Left or Right side quarter not sure which and was to be no more of that side as the cost for new die was too much..............rumor??

 

I heard Ryan just bought out Hot Rod magazine and fired Freiburger. The big unveiling is going to be at the Roundup this weekend. I have a hunch that Fortier will be the new editor.

 

I highly doubt they're going to start selling reproduction bodies with one quarter panel missing...

 

i hope it's the left side if it was for the roadster body

I'd think it would be more of a delay in getting the die repaired or replaced than not making any more of those parts.

Stamping dies get repaired or replaced all the time but it may take months to build one from scratch.

they wont sell the ones they display at shows,,,,or atleast they wouldnt sell me one at a large car show even though i had cash in my hand....

 

You took the time to post on here but you could not take the time to contact Brookville. I don't get it.

 

I'm thinking about running for president. If elected, there will be no shortage of 32 body panels. Thanks for your support.

There's been a rumor that all of Brookville's production has actually always been assembled by space aliens decended from those that crash landed in Roswell, NM in '47 or so...

Fortier is out...he wanted a salary! Ryan has discovered that he can get Germ from the Sheriff's Labor Assistance Program for $6.00 an hour, plus the cost of an orange vest.
And Sibley has contracted for the missing quarter panels...he is supplying four per day, tapping perfect replicas out of old Datsun roofs with a ball pein hammer and a tree stump!

 

With Sibley onboard,all problems are solved. Only 4 per day? Is he part time now?

This rumor just in...Sibley has broken his tree stump. There will be no more panels until he grows a new tree from stock that he has genetically engineered.
