The front end of my 1941 1/2 ton truck is making a low rumbling noise during low speed turns. I'm talking like driveway/parking lot speeds and almost any amount of turn in the wheel. It sounds like the tires are rubbing, but I have confirmed that both tires are completely clear of any obstruction lock to lock. I can't hear the rumbling noise at any other speed, but that could be from all of the other wind/exhaust noise. Turning the steering wheel at any speed is a chore, but the stock steering wheel was replaced by the PO with a 15" wheel. I checked all of the bolts in the front end to make sure they were tight simply because I didn't install them and I don't typically trust PO's. The front end is 4" drop axle. Rear is parallel leafs with a 4" drop. I'm running bigs and littles, not sure of tire sizes. Split wishbone radius rods. Stock spindles Stock steering box and linkages. PO rebuilt the steering box. Seems too tight to me. 39' Lincoln front manual drum brakes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
