Well it's almost done. I'm pretty happy with it.

The idea behind this little truck was to use what I had and move it around until it looked cool. It was kind of a pain in the ass. It would have been easier to just start from scratch, but it turned out pretty cool anyway.

I am trying to develop my own style for these cars and even though there are things about it that I wouldn't have done had I started from scratch, I think it captured "the look"

It is a mix of vintage parts, stance, and some out of the box thinking. I like to use stuff you don't normally see on Hot Rods.........

I think the flat white looks good. It will need body work to be finish painted, but it looks tough this way.

I put little bumpers on the back to help take up some of that space. They look OK.... My dad made the bed cover.

The 50 ford grill looks killer for the dash.
I stole the shifter from the church across the street. HaHa

The motor is AWSOME. It runs like a MotherFucker.....

Wingnutz ruled at dialing the carbs.
It's funny, I kick him out of the shop almost everyday. I'm kind of a jerk, I try and try to be a normal guy, but it's hard.
He drives me crazy sometimes, but so does everyone else who comes to visit..... HaHaHaHa

Anyway, I let him stick around to dial in the carbs and I learned a whole bunch. THANKS!

I'm a loner and a rebel, just like Pee Wee Herman, bro.

I'm pretty happy with the way the headers turned out too.

So if it can stop raining I'm gonna drive the shit out of this thing the next few days and work out any little bugs that present themselves.

I like this little truck, It's still a little rough around the edges, but it's pretty unique and a true Hot Rod all the way.

Yes, it is for sale. It is going in the classifieds and to ebay.

  2. My hats to ya , bro. It's a tough 'lil ride. Really is cool.

    Congrats!

Yeah, I like the tail lights. . . I forget what they are off of but a few times I almost bought them at swaps thinking they would be good on "something".

Congratulations I think you succeded in stepping outside of the box and then turned around and kicked the shit out of it. . .

    The dash rocks too. .

Pretty cool. Be careful, you may end up like Drew and his "Pro Built Rat Rod factory" and never keep one for yourself.

    Vision indeed.

Great work. Looks fabulous. I love the dash and tailights the best! Very creative. These kind of vehicles capture the hotrod spirit.

Nice work ruler... once again you addd to the definition of master fabricator...

Wing Nutz is just plain nutz ... he spent too much time playing with airplanes... where fuel system mishaps can prove to be serious :)

    :)

if i was rich.. and had 2 or three less projects.. i would swoop down and snatch that thing up.

    :)

I'm glad the motor runs as well as promised. Nice work on the headers. I hope I get a chance to hear that thing run. I see you kept the John Deere yellow dipstick. My Dad painted that as a joke. He'll be happy to know it survived. [IMG]
