RPM Nationals Flathead & 4 cylinder drags Oct. 28, 2017 Santa Margarita Ranch, CA presented by Hop Up ....and as promised, the "Bonus coverage" from the RPM Nats drags that happened at Santa Margarita Ranch, CA in San Luis Obispo county. Hope the imagery gives those of you who couldn't or can't make it a gist of the event's flavor & inspires in some way, shape or form that will create the desire to attend this event or put together another version with hopped up flattie's & 'bangers being thrashed on a flag start 1/8 mile piece of pavement in your zip code. Last shot: In the spirit of NOT being "slow to praise & quick to criticize", this attendee/swap participant had no complaints with the entire event. The "management" did a great job (IMO) and if there were any mishaps I'm not privy too, I'm sure they won't make the mistake of other event organizers (yeah, I'm talking about the recent LARS & 2016 Cacklefest "F-ups") and listen to participant/attendee constructive criticisms to improve the event, if needed. Even the Firestone Walker 805 "barley-pop" trailer dispensing suds to the thirsty crowd was a cool event factor (don't know how good it was, don't drink...). That's all I got for now; Will have some more stuff sooner or later because the Left Coast, So-Cal Fall/Winter climate allows Hot Rod stuff to keep happenin'. Be in touch soon.....PRE48V-8\:^]
That was a flat out blast. Pun intended. I hope growth doesn't spoil it. I'll be there next year, if they have it again.
