After reading another post: "That feeling you get," about driving your car got me to thinking about all the photos taken out on the highway rolling to another car event...how 'bout posting some up.

Here's a few from my bro's '47 Aerosedan as we rolled thru a Kansas rain storm as we here heading home from the HAMB drags in '08.

Here is another of Aaron or convoy in his chevy truck he had at the time. And a good friend Chuck in his sedan delivery he had at the time. While on our way to lincoln nebraska for a show...ghost

 

I always liked this one. I've got more on my computer at home that I'll add later.

 

On the way back from Roundup last year. I had just gotten it running. Center caps weren't secure at highway speeds. I still managed to have fun.

Those are the same taillights Megan just put in her Chevy at my place last Thursday morning. What a difference.

I sure wish I was driving Big Olds to Austin next onth. I'd love to get a shot of him like that from you. One of these days, one of these days.

Nice thread, and nice pics! I like when they take it at a slower shutter speed, so the car looks still except for the twirling wheels, and the background is racing by. You get more of a feeling of motion.

 

Some great road shots on this thread...thanx for posting them. Here's a shot of my son (Dichromeglassdreams) rolling his Caddy thru the canyon in Moab, Utah...one of our favorite runs...
