I stopped by the shop the next morning after the party to pick up the rest of the steering parts for my roadster and snap a few pics. Unfortunately we slept in late and missed breakfast with everyone, but I met a lot of great new people, many of which I can't even remember the names of! All in all we had a great time, hauled up a hemi for Dennis Varni's new project, almost ran out of gas on the New York Thruway, drove 11 hours each way, but we wouldn't have missed this weekend for anything. On to the pics!

Richie's blown flattie built by Jim "Mr. Nitty Notty" Flemming, they fired this up Saturday night and it sounds BADASS.

I'll get there someday! What are all the cars running for tires, great tread patterns, they really look nice.

Those are amazing. Even the roadster, and im one of those guys that needs a roof on top of the car, but that is really something. Honestly theres no words to describe'em.
What is the grille on the DeLuna?

The tires are Excelsior RADIALS with the lettering all buffed off them. They look great, AND make for a nice smooth ride.

The grill on DeLuna's car is a Cockshutt tractor grill. Pretty damn slick.

  10. Damn, there's some neat stuff. It must be like taking a step back in time just to walk into the Rolling Bones Shop. Thanks for posting up these great shots:)......Don.

I know the Rolling Bones guys are known for their work on '32's mostly but Poteet's '34 is their finest work I think.

Im interested in the roof insert and that they are screwed in place. I just assumed they would be welded. I kinda like the screws better.

I believe they use Walden speed shop inserts. There is a lot that goes into getting them sitting flush and smooth like that.

All of their cars look great but that 3 window 34 (car No.55) is drop dead gorgeous.
