Could one of you kind gentlemen please post a copy of the Rod & Custom Article that covers 'how to build a drive shaft exhaust'? My eBay, Hamb, and Google searches have turned up squat. I believe the article was originally published at the end of 2005 (Oct, Nov or Dec), but I'm not entirely sure.

    Thanks in advance!

I would like to see it also. I had an old book that showed how to make a complete dragster frame out of drive shafts. And even which ones to use. But like everything else good, I lost it.

Alphabet can you remember the name of the book or author? Sounds like an interesting book.

I used a '35 or '36 drive shaft, it is a tapered at both ends tube,
got one under my mailbox, the box spins around when the plow or a baseball bat hits it...

    IMO...
Marty, I don't know, looks like a smaller diameter ... looks like the diameter stays the same for too long...

How to build a traditional hot rod by Vern Tardel describes the process.

Sorry just getting back. No I don't remember much about it. But once I did start thinking. I believe it was actually a pocket size magazine. Will check my uncles stash in the next couple of weeks. Might have given it to him.
