On '53-'53 Chev's, provided you've gone with firewall mounted master cylinder and have a good tranny x-member under the tailshaft, is the stock K-Looking member needed on these cars? What about the body supports running from above the toe panel to the frame? Anybody running any oddball motors in these things?
I'm not sure about the xmember, but the firewall braces are long gone on mine. Hopefully it won't be a problem.
