Technical roadster w/s frame info wanted

I posted on the Fordbarn as well.

I'm looking for advice on who makes the BEST QUALITY reproduction 28/29 roadster windshield frame. I don't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for a repro frame only to find it's crap quality. Sofar haven't been able to score a decent replate-able original. I don't want chrome as I still need to chop whatever I get etc.. As we all know, reproduction quality really varies...some good, some, bad, some terrible.

Some of you guys have experience with these frames and I'm listening. Thanks
