When traveling to Bonneville this year from the East Coast we are looking to find used tool shops somehat near I-80 or I-70 along the way from NJ to Utah. We Have been to Liberty Tool in Liberty, Maine http://www.jonesport-wood.com/ltcphototour8.html and think that this type of business might be found all across the country. It's a fascinating collection of old used tools for every trade and occupation. Like a museum that you can take the exibits home with you! A throwback to an earlier time before Ebay.

What do other Hamber's have in their area along the way similar to this?

  2. Not the answer to your question,, but the ALLOY ARTIFACTS site has a wealth of info on many types of special tools of various trades, LOTS of wrenches!!!
If you find oddball stuff, you can look it up
