I do not see a thread for Ray Beach's of Fre-Ray Sounds passing. I just learned of this very sad news today sorry for the short notice of service for those who know Ray & Freda of Fre-Ray Sounds. Ray was an amazing guy who deserves a respectful send off. Ray Never missed a Cruise-In Rain or Shine, he had a Heart of Gold! RIP Ray you will be Greatly missed by the Greater Richmond Car Folks. Raymond L. Jr., 63, of Highland Springs, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va., where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park ... He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Bacci. Raymond is survived by his wife of 31 years, Freda Beach; daughter, Crystal Dumesnil; brother, Dan Beach; grandchildren, Connor and Christopher Dumesnil; and devoted uncle, Vorden Walsh and wife, Janet. Raymond was a member of Solid Rock Ministries as well as the T.J.C.C.A.B. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and was also a ring announcer for pro wrestling and a D.J. for Fre-Ray Sounds. But most of all he was known as the greatest Pop Pop in the world.
