    I went up to Oklahoma the other day with a friend who had to do a verification of a '31 Caddy for the finance company he works for. The guy that was selling the Caddy also was into old wooden speed boats and marine engines. Some amazing stuff! pigpen

    Thanks for the pictures. I have put the Caddy dash from that year of car in my last 2 Deuce PUs. Never knew what the Caddy looked like they came from. I found both of them at the LA Roadster show.

    He does his own restoration and has a reputation as a premier builder. I think his "hobby" makes him some money as a side business. Pretty sharp businessman, I think.

    I was in the italian lakes last year and was looking at a workshop with these type of boat in vairius states of repaire fantastic craftmanship and the finished artical "not a price tags in sight gulp" lol

    Great stuff. I'm only 31 and the hot rods and vintage bikes are cool but I've officially decided old wooden boats will be my mid-life crisis.

  18. Buddy of mine, down in West Palm, did some minor paint work on a '32 Cadillac last year. Wow, these cars are incredible!
    Love the color of the marine engines and those boats aint too shabby neither! :p Who doesn't get off on these things?? Thanks for the spy photos. :cool:

  20. I miss My 1946 Century... and I'm looking for photo's of the 1956 Shepherd with a Chrysler Hemi and it was painted Sea Mist Green!!

    Great stuff! If you get a chance, check out VanDamboats.com. Some of the modern wooden boats they build remind me of street rods on the water.
