Sorta like the Zingers, but even wilder. I appreciate them now, but back then not so much. I liked to kit-bash everything so models that could only be built one way, or didn't have parts I could rob, just didn't interest me. I just didn't see the point in doing what had already been done. But that thing is really cool!

Old photos are so cool. They tell so much and just have a vibe about them. Plus they help fill in the gaps....like what was in those holes on the front of your 57cHEVY.
I just found a pic on-line of a friends '29 Delivery at the '73 Tulsa Nationals. His Dad built the car before he was born and passed away 31 years ago, so he was happy to see the pic.

I swear I recently saw the buggies in the background of a picture posted in one of the threads here. Are they (& the Z) known to be still around? That '57 is just so damn cool! Always smile when you post it!

as far as I know I have the only one of the 4 deals wheels cars that survived. I know for a fact that the zzz 28 gave up its life for a vw powered vehicle produced by Kars inc in Mass in the early 70's

Just a quick question for you. When you take out all of your cars, boats, models, and other stuff; how many people stop and want to see everything with questions?

The base is a reproduction, I built the model myself. I don't think very many of those survived in very good condition

So when do we get the video of it moving under its own power?
