I would like to replace the noisy rear in my 1962 Chrysler 300 with one without tapered axles. Is there an axle that will fit without modification?

Have you looked at 65 and up c-body. Your 300 should share the same width. I would imagine the spring perches will even be in the same spot. If you give a measurement I'll check my fury and see how close they are.

Check my web pages for rear axle info/widths. I don't have a listing for your 62 but if you measure yours you can compare to others.
If you get a solid wms-to-wms number I'll include it in my list .
