Technical Rear end Swap help!!

    This is how I’ve always done it when replacing a factory set rear


    Heck. Worked good for a long time, right? :)

    So I had a chance to call one of my welding shops and they told me if I can give them the pinion angle and where to put the perches it would be 50 bucks to weld it in.

    Do as Swade said. Level your current spring pads. Then check pinion angle on the yoke.

    I recall 55-9 pu’s were around 10-12 degrees, but sat right when the truck was let down on the pads. Don’t be alarmed if you’re way off of 3 degrees
