Flathead power????These little engines need gears.
3.54 to 4.11 all day long. Around 3.73 being a great flathead gear.

If you do a lot of Hwy driving...3.25.

Change your title to "Ratio", not ration.

This calculator lets you put in three factors and find the fourth. Speed, rpm, tire size and gear ratio.
Don't get in an uproar over the electric vehicle thing as it is the easiest to use calculator on the net. Tire Size, RPM, Speed, and Differential Ratio Calculator (advanced-ev.com)

You can play with it in any direction which makes it great for figuring out what gear ratio will work.
A quick check shows that with a 27 inch tall tire, 3.45 final gear ratio and 70 mph you should be running 3005 rpm. Drop to a 3.25 and it runs 2831 rpm 4.11 is 3580. Have fun.

I think you would be satisfied with the 354s ,I have an 8ba 3 on the tree about a 28" tire 354 gear when doing 65-70 mph rpm 28-3000 rpm 's think it might be a little less with the C-4 ???
