This 1940 Cadillac 6229 convertible is a true, rare, barn find. It is number 36 out of 75 total produced. Only 9 in registered existence , you’ll probably never see another It has the headlights, which aren't pictured, but is missing the top irons (patterns are available). Has all seat springs as well. Other than the top irons it is a complete car. It has a very solid body. It has the original Cadillac V8 flathead drive train which doesn't currently run but has never been tried. Engine turns and the Transmission shifts into all gears and it rolls easily. It is out of the DMV system so it has no paper work other than a Bill of Sale and a California VIN verification. Mileage is unknown Would like to trade for a driver 1933-36 Ford. Cash as second option Not sure why the photos are upside down... email me for more pictures/right side up!
