Random heater that came with my truck. Any idea what it's out of?

This was in the bed of my gmc when I got it. It's not from my truck, and I'm not a fan of throwing stuff out if I can donate to someone in need. Just not sure what it's from. Any guesses?

Been a few years, but my first thought is early Chevy 2 (62-67).

 

looks like mid-60's GM to me.

 

Yeah, looks like a 60s GM product to me too

 

bingo.... early Chevy II. Looks just like the one from my 62, although mine doesn't have the electric plunger switch near the center.
