Radio Delete App?

Not traditional, I know, but I'm looking at this '55 Desoto that's all complete except for the radio. No problem, I would delete it in favor of my iPod anyway. And then it hits me:

What if there were a radio delete plate that would accept and hold your smart phone but displayed the correct factory radio face(downloaded for your make and model) with functioning controls and presets that controlled your playlist.

When your not jamming, it looks like a regular delete plate. No flaming please, it's just an idea. But if anyone here can develop apps I gots some better ideas not to be shared publicly:-D

Yeah I know, it's not an app nor does it look traditional. But it sure does come in handy sometimes...

 

fuxl - that is the best you can do? only place that you can mount it?
