How many of these different "Rader" wheels have you seen lately??? I honestly did not remember all of these... August 1965 HRM ad..... Neat... Any pics of these wheels on cars??
A good friend of mine has a set of the one below and told me they were Rader,,but until I saw this I didn't believe him,,they are not marked.
The weird round spokes at 5 oclock were breifly on McMullan's deuce in the late sixties. They on occasion showed up as front wheels on drag cars too. Then gone. The big question for me though is does anyone have a usable set of the four lug tri-ribs at 8 oclock? I have never seen those before!
there is a brown Corvair in the Watson picture thread with some 4 spoke wheels that are not in that ad but they have to be the same maker and about the same year.
Thanks for the info on that goofy ass wheel....I knew I had seen these on something prominent. Dude, even IF someone has a set of those 4 spoke ribs, you're not allowed to run them....no way!!
The other place those goofy round five spokes showed up was on the front of Monogram's "Bad Man" '55 Chevy gasser kit. How's that for weird wheel trivia...
