See, I think my 55 was 3000lbs.
Big weight advantage.
Stay tuned, same Bat channel, same Bat time ...........
Nice little 55 Robert.. My favorite year of the tri 5s..
Thx Thug, your Nova should be cool soon. Gasser?
It’ll probably be a little while till I have it rolling on it’s own suspension. I’ve got some things to figure out with the setup. Not going to be a gasser..
I just did a Ron Pope kit on my 56.... it's all the Speedway stuff with his stronger front axle and a lot of other bits not in the Speedway kit. RPMs axles are way beefier then the Speedway one, although many, many racers run the speedway axle and I have never heard of a problem with them.
Won't be an issue if it never hits the road. LOL
I guess I can make an update finally. It's getting close heheh
Wow, it looks great!
Thx Ken, I'll wash it tomorrow maybe and take better pictures.
Hey Ken, I'm originally from Birmingham Mich. How far away are you?
@R. Seghi such a cool car.
I don't remember if this was mentioned but is there a pearl on the orange? The pic with the flash had me curious.
I thought the same thing looking at that first picture.
That's a killer looking car !
Looking real good Rob. Love the orange . Great choice.
hey Bob its so bad ass love that ole 55
Looks like it was well worth waiting for.
Yes there is an Orange Pearl mist over the Hugger Orange.
Thx to all.
We have talked about this before. I grew up and lived in Lincoln Park for my first 63 years, and now I live in Romulus. My Mom's side of the family was from Troy, Royal Oak, and Berkley, so I was out your way quite a bit.
Yes thank you Groucho. We did pick out the color walking through the pits at a Hot Rod Reunion awhile back. Post #66 on page 3 talks about that day.
very nice car. good job
WOW! The build that wouldn't die! I had forgotten about this car....You sure take your time.
