It is truly not the years in the life, but the life in the years. God rest Andy Dunn. Our prayers are with the Dunn family. Know that young man touched thousands of lives. We are all but strangers here...

I haven't been on here in quite sometime and logged in a few minutes ago only to see the HAMBAndy Memorial thread starring me in the face. I'm kind of hardened when it comes to adults but when I read, see, whatever, a sick child or a child that has passed it turns me to mush.

Godspeed Andy I know you are free of the pain and everything else that plagued your short life, now you can enjoy being a normal kid.........................

And after all I have been through in my life, I thought I was pretty stoic about most tragedies. However, after reading about HAMBANDY, I actually felt a tear well up, then I smiled, and then the darn tear thing started again. I often say that I am not a Super Christian, but I'm a helluva lot better person than I used to be. I will add my prayers those directed to him and his memory. And, will also pray that his family and friends find peace and comfort. It can't hurt to try.

Death only affects the living. That is the ultimate peace we are promised and that is the comforting peace HAMBANDY finally found.

I am terribly saddened by the thought of Andy's passing. I have been priveledged by the opportunity to bright andy's hot rod life with my artistc skill. I am overwhelmed by the passion, concern and dedication the HAMB family has delivered to the Dunn family. I know Andy's expereience on the HAMB has prepered him for an eternal life of happiness & hotrodding. Listen for squealin' tires overhead!!!
