I was going to buy this:
    http://www.fsrace.net/servlet/the-577/Flex-dsh-Hone-Cylinder-Ball-dsh-Hone-39-dsh-105mm/Detail

Then I read it was for steel sleeved or Nikasil coated cylinder.

I have nickel-iron 265ci SBC engine that is already .060 over but has scratches in 2 cylinders and very very smooth glazed cylinder walls. I am afraid the 320 may not be aggressive enough. Would 240 grit or even 180 grit be better?

I'm just wanting to do a quick R&R with the block in the car to the tune of new rings and main/rod bearings. I will just be using standard rings, not chrome.

    Thanks!

choose the grit that the ring manufacturer calls for, and don't overdo it.

Ahhh, good point! I didn't even think about that. I'm buying these:

So I'll checkout what they recommend.

    Thanks!
