Question on Day of the Drags????

If I was to fly in for the Day of the Drags, where should I fly into? Is it just the one day? Are we all going somewhere afterward?

I am leaving Fri. night after work. Gonna pull the trailer behind the m/h. Should be there by around 9ish.

There is a post-drags show Sat night in Austin after the drags, but I will be heading back to Dallas Sat night.

Is the party at Kontinential Club? Steve was saying something about it at the HAMB drags.

 

Rough event list...

Friday night: Party at Continental Club in Austin

Saturday Morning: Drive North to Temple for drags all day
Saturday Evening: Drive back to Austin for more party at Continental Club.

Sunday morning: Go out to lake in Austin for even MORE partying!

I'll probably just be at the drags in Temple on Saturday day.

 

Big shindig at the Continental Club Sat nite after the drags. We also are gonna be rockin and rollin Friday night at the club and on S.Congress so feel free to come in early. I am sure we can find you place to stay Fri and probably Sat night in town. Fly into Austin and one of the Kontinentals will pick you up at the airport. We might even send Dianne, the "back door diva"....she is very fond of you. Get to Austin on Fri and you will have rides everywhere you need to go incl out to the Drags on Sat and back to Austin. It gonna be a great w/e start to finish....Friday eve to Sunday Afternoon. Book your flight home late Sunday so you can cruise out to Ski Shores on Sunday afternoon for a burger n' beer.

i might vend at da drags selling grease (hair grease) shirts, cuttin hair possibly. depends on power outlets... im running da 49.. thie will be the first time for me and the 49 at da drags!!!!! robs chop shop)))))))

There also a section for new guys to do introductions. Just say who you are and a bit about your car. Congrats, by the way, on the magazine pics from the Roundup.

Have you talked to someone about vending and cutting hair?
