Does someone make Model A Ford inner fender panels with rolled beads that MATCH the original Ford beads? No interest in using the wider bead panels that fit over the originals. Someone must have made dies to make Ford beads
with a Pullmax or bead roller. Just want to save as much original tin and replace what is missing.

It’s interesting you ask that. I had a number of dies specially machined up a couple of years ago to suit various Model A Panels including the upper and lower swages on the doors and quarter panels. So far I have been unable to use them due to the key holes being slightly undersize. Having said that, I have not needed them anyway as I have worked out that by using an upper tipping die with a urethane lower wheel I can create any size or shape of bead I want. The image below is of the Roadster Quarter Panel I am repairing. I have made the patch panels to suit.

The 30 Pickup cab is a little more complex as it’s a double swage that contours from the b pillar 90 degrees around to the rear.

To cut to the chase, I can make the missing section as long as I have a template of the crown. I am fabricating all the missing panels of a Roadster Quarter I purchased earlier this year including the wheel wells.

I am not sure how much use I am being in Australia. It would not cost me anything to make up the missing section but the shipping is another story. I need to make them anyway so I am happy to ship it out if you are happy to pay it.
