power booster with 235?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 59chev, Sep 25, 2003.

  1. I have been debating upgrading to disk brakes, but I have the stock 235 in my truck. Can you run a vaccum line of anywhere to run a power booster? What about a vaccum pump run off the water pump pulley.

the vacuum line usually comes off the intake right under the carburetor, when you close the throttle to step on the brake it increases the vacuum enough to power the brakes.i use a vacuum cannister on my car because the cam is a little too lumpy for good vacuum at idle,i recommend it if your cam is lumpy-george
