I am looking to get a power drive bead roller.... I want to know whose you have and how you like it. I have used a couple of the name brand ones that were "rated for 18ga" mild steel, and they wouldnt truly do 18ga, the motor was too weak.

    Let me know!

I would check out a bead roller from Lazze.us. It has an adjustable upper shaft that moves the die an 1 1/2". Mittler Brothers builds a good bead roller too. I have one and it works great. mittlerbros.com

plus 1 on the Mittler Brothers bead roller. I bought mine about 15 years ago and it is still running strong. It will do 18ga just fine, albeit not as fast as it will do .040 aluminum

Mittler bros bead roller for sure, it will do 16 guage steel (with steel rolls) and .090 aluminum (have to space the rolls apart)

Thanks guys... you guys with Mittler Bros... which model do you have? There is one the standard power drive that is rated at 18ga steel. Then there is one that is twice the money and rated at 16ga steel.

I have the 24" throat steel one, now they sell a billet aluminum one. I use it regularly on 16 gauge and thought it was rated for it when I bought it a few years ago.
