Wondering why a classified wanted ad was taken down. Trying to get help and it doesn’t help when my posts get deleted
It was posted in the wrong section and moved to the wanted section where it belongs. You received a message that it was deleted in error. It was undeleted / moved.
any notifications from the mods about moves, or deletions will not me a PM but will be a notification, these are found in the lightning bolt symbol just to the right of the pm envelope. also you will not have access to the wanted section of the classifieds until you have 10 posts on the forum. This was done in an effort to thwart the scammers that were frequenting the wanted section

It shows up as an error, I shouldn’t have to post ten times to join a group and ask a question, seems kind of ridiculous IMO. Not easily accessible. Sometimes that’s good, sometimes it’s bad.
You allow classifieds, where I can buy things or sell things, but don’t show me the wanted section where I can look for things I need or others may need, don’t tell me I can’t see my posts in a section I can’t access, and then tell me to go back to eBay? The moderators had it handled, I joined this site because I needed help not your attitude, thanks Lloyd!
Ok - lets calm down. Welcome 1964 Luke. My error forgetting you have to have 10 posts to see the wanted ads. Sorry about that. We did that to try to deal with scammers who surfed the wanted ads and contacted HAMB'rs saying they had the part when they didn't and took the money and disappeared. So a few more posts Luke and you'll be able to see the Wanted section of the classifieds. It's all good - take some time to get to know the HAMB and enjoy.
