I have always been a V8 kind of Gal but I am looking at a 62 Pontiac Tempest with a Trophy 4 for a Daily Driver. I have done a little research but looking for some some guys with experience on this small of a motor. I have heard some good things, and its similar to the Small Block Chevy.... Not sure what "they" are saying by that. Lay it on me Guys... Anything would be helpful! Thanks, BlayneA
Nothing like a SBC. Half a 389, so alot like Pontiac V8. I have a 62 LeMans. Great little car, but down on power for now. Its just the weezer 1bbl low compression. I have many different ideas about raising the power. Theres a guy from Arizona that has over 400,000 miles on his. I'm sure he will chime in at some point. His is a 61 Tempest.
