please help identify y block in my 60 Starliner

    got a 60 starliner...Waiting for it to get transported to me and I'm trying to figure out which motor it has.

    yes, I read somewhere FE is/can be identified as yblock as well? Not sure truth in that...I was hoping this was the mighty 352
     
  4. Not a Y, definitely an FE. 352 or 390.

    Yes 352 or 390. 390's came out in '61? Not that that means anything.

    Y has dizzy in rear....Y valve covers have two studs that come through the center of the valve cover that hold them on......

    Not to mention an FE has its spark plugs nestled between the protruding exhaust passages.

    I am with everyone else, 352 FE. I am working on a '60 Starliner also, do you have any more pics you would like to share?
