Please help ID this V8 emblem

I believe it is a Chevy emblem but not sure. I have one and am trying to locate another.

Looks sort of Fordish. Any part numbers on the back?

 

No sir Dodger, I did find this link which says 55-56 chevy truck. Just having a hell of a time finding another.

 

I believe its off of a heavy mid 50's chevy truck they mounted them on the sides.

 

this was the best picture I could come up with. on the fender below the other emblem is the V8 emblem. you typically dont see them on lighter trucks like this one. hope this helps.

yep they came on the 1/2-4 ton trucks my 56 wich is a half ton came factory with a v8 and those badges
