haven't posted one of my own in awhile so thought I woulld try out this one.. This is a pix of the car, not same car, when wife and I got married in 61............... do you have any you would like to share.
Not at all Hamb freindly, or really that old of a car but here is a couple pics from me and my wifes wedding less than a year ago. The beater is my daily.
My wife and I returned to the scene of the crime on our first anniversary........with our wedding clothes and '34 Ford 3w.........the car is long gone but the wife is still here! CB
I don't have any pics, but it was a '63 Chevy Biscayne 2 dr., black with a red gut. It was originally a 409 car ('supposedly 425hp, 4-speed). I got it from the guy who got it from the original owner. It had been stolen and stripped, so when I got it (for $150) it had a 283 2bbl w/3-speed.
No pics but it was a 48 Plymouth 5-passenger coupe with 50s Chrysler wire wheels, stock drivetrain, fender skirts. This was Feb 1976, car is gone but wife still here and making me happy.
Take the wayback machine to 1973 and see the disco tux .... (we were 19yo) sold my '66 tri-power GTO to build this car (GTO was red/red and I didn't like that) started with a 1 owner '64 El Camino originally 283-2bbl, 4sp, A/C, tilt, electric windows changed drivetrain to: 350 LT1 crate engine Edelbrock SY1 intake, 750 Holley DP M21, scattershield, 4:11 12 bolt posi car was stolen about 6 months later and recovered as a stripped shell still have the same girl though I told my friends "DO NOT decorate my car" We got a few pieces of TP but a big pile of rice over both sun visors.
Wish it was my car, but instead I had my buddy drive us off from the reception in his ride. Me and my bride April 25, 2009.
